Mozilla Thunderbird Setup

When you have Thunderbird open, click "Alt+T" on your keyboard. The menu bar should pop up at the top with "Tools" selected... choose "Account Settings..." at the bottom.

Now on the "Account Settings" page, click on "Account Actions" at the bottom left and choose "Add Mail Account..."

On this "Mail Account Setup" screen, fill out the information... Your Name, your Email address and your password for your email account (don't create a new, use the same one you setup with us). If you want, you can leave "Remember Password" checked so you don't have type it in every time. Click "Continue" at the bottom.

Now it's going to try and find the settings automatically... it might find the correct settings, but click "Manual config" at the bottom so we can make sure everything is correct. Add these settings if it didn't:

Incoming: IMAP or POP3

(IMAP will only download a copy of what's on the server. All emails stay on the server until you specifically delete and purge them. This is useful to use if you have more than one device checking your email.)

(POP3 downloads your emails off of our server and onto your computer. Any other device will not receive the new emails.)

Now click on "Re-test" at the bottom which will test the settings and allow you to press the "Done" button. Press "Done" and a red warning page is going to pop-up. This warning is just saying that since the account is being setup without encryption, there is a security risk. Put a check in "I understand the risks." and click "Done". All the windows should disappear now and the program will take you to the INBOX of your account on the left hand side.

Your account is now setup correctly on Mozilla Thunderbird!
